Artist's Comments

I played around with the colours in this painting. I thought a little extra contrast would push the whites out and with the actual painting itself give me licence to thrash the texture. Painted with the old brushes, and I mean OLD, I took out some ruined brushes, you know, the ones that you've destroyed after years of abuse and almost thrown away but never had the heart to do so. New brushes were used as well.

Anyway, I hope you like it.

ps: If your paintings look horrible, paint over them til they sparkle a little, but don't give up til they do. :)

yeah, see if i was doing the painting for me, i would.. but when deadlines come into it, and when stress hits, its kinda like.. oh god, no time! speed-paint!! which acrylic is rather good for, because it dries so quickly.
